P&O
JTP Signmakers was commissioned to make up some van liveries for P&O Cruises,
what we didn't initially know was for how many. The order was for 28 van
liveries and they were to be fitted in one day in a car park in Hampshire. A
five strong team were duly despatched to Marwell with liveries all printed and
ready to go. Task completed and looking 'just the ticket' with very
satisfied customers.

MONKEY WORLD
We have been working with Monkey World for some years now, small on-site signs
and van liveries. But when we were asked to render an artists work in to large
entrance signs we jumped at the opportunity. David Dancey Wood's illustrations
were scanned and sent to us as a PhotoShop document which we printed on our wide
format, six colour printer with UV stable inks. The resultant image was mounted
on 'Dibond' and installed on the existing posts. |

LIGHTHOUSE ARTS CENTRE, POOLE
JTP Signmakers were asked to pitch for the design and realisation, of the new
sign work at this very prestigious arts centre in Poole along with three others.
In the process of a complete facelift the arts centre were keen to show themselves
as a modern forward-looking arts centre. We worked in partnership with Total
Design on the pitch, a London agency we have had close links with for 15 years.
Everything from the main signs on the face of the building to the wayfinding
and information signage for the internal areas of the building were considered.
The results were simple, stunning and worked beautifully. |

STRATA
A new store opening in Poole selling bespoke, highly desirable interior fittings,
bathroom, kitchen and bedroom furnishings needed some signs. Ringwood based Design
Concepts were handling the rebrand and got us involved in the project at an early
stage so we could advise on how best to develop the brand into signage. The main
requirement was for simple and effective. The name 'Strata' was
profile cut from the face of the silver aluminium laminate and refitted with
red translucent acrylic. The signs were internally illuminated and really looked
stunning on the busy High Street. |

ARQIVA
Formally NTL Broadcast, recently acquired by a Spanish company was given a complete
brand overhaul. JTP Signmakers won the contract to replace the signs at their
head office near Winchester in Hampshire. The graduated logo caused some headaches
but working closely with the design team meant we could achieve the required
feel of the logo. We needed to fit the signs over the bank holiday weekend so
that the brand was in evidence when the people returned to work on Tuesday. We
are looking forward to producing the signs for all the other sites around the
country. |

PATERSONS
Patersons, a traditional butcher in Ringwood in Hampshire recently refurbished
their site and have incorporated a fishmonger next door. We were asked if we
could make them a pair of signs using gold leaf, a material that has been used
in art and sign work for ever, and Oak timber to match the exterior of the shop.
The result is a slightly different take on the usual 'traditional' look,
as we incorporated a more modern typeface into the design. |

BISTECH
Bistech are a national company who specialise in computer networks and systems.
needed a fleet of vehicle liveries and an illuminated monolith for their headquarters.
They had recently updated their branding and were keen to get the new look up
and running. The livery was completed quickly and the technicians were back on
the road in no time. We utilised an 'off the shelf' aluminium system
to build the monolith and incorporated internal lighting to highlight the name
of the business with a 'halo' effect. At the base of the monolith
we put an uplighter to illuminate the base to give the sign some substance when
it is dark. |

WINCHESTER GUILDHALL
Winchester Guildhall needed some way of displaying their upcoming attractions
without having to drape the building in banners, which had been the way for the
last few years. We had to design something that was in keeping with the style
of the grand Victorian building but within a fairly tight budget. The answer
was to utilise standard aluminium sections but add bespoke detail to the display.
The result stands proudly at the entrance steps of the Guildhall. No more tatty
banners draped over the Guildhall balcony. |

BUILDING DEVELOPERS
Over the years we have produced signs and displays for a number of Building developers
large and small including Antler Homes - Bovis Homes - Ruskin Homes - Barratt
Homes - Prowting Homes. We are very good at it. We understand the needs of
a working site and can produce the work quickly and fit them efficiently. Site
signs and information signs, hoarding signs and banners, flags and flagpoles,
internal displays, in fact anything that could be required to make a new building
development work safely and informatively.
